Youth named Mohammad Syed who pretended to be a recognized model and cheated more than 20 girls in a course of three years in the pretext of marrying them, has been arrested. The miscreant got exposed after three girls raised complaint against him at the same time for cheating them.

Residing in an apartment that is located in Purasaiwalkam, Chennai with his family, the 26 year old accused has been introducing himself as a model to women. All the three girls had accused Syed of using them for his sexual desires in the pretext of marrying them. The girls alleges the accused of betraying them and said that he is responsible for ruining their lives, in their complaint.

Going by the order of Police commissioner, Women Police officials of Vepery station started investigating the case. Sending him a text from the mobile phones of the three victims, women Police officials checked how the accused is responding. As expected, Syed responded to all the three of them in a romantic way and invited them to meet him at three different places during different times.

Confirming about his crimes, Vepery women police filed three cases under relevant sections against Syed and arrested him. It has been reported that the girls met him when he conducted a fashion show named “Namma Chennai” and befriended with him.

At one point, when one of the girls went through Syed’s cell phone, she came to know about his relationship with several other girls. She extracted cell phone numbers of other two women from Syed’s cell phone and contacted them to know about the real face of him.

All the three girls came to know that Syed has been cheating them. Initially, he denied having relationship with several women and confessed about his crimes after Police showed him his whatsapp and Instagram chats.

Being a drug addict, Syed also befriended with girls whom he meet in parties and introduced himself to them as “Mr.Chennai”, “Mr. India” etc. He also used them for his sexual desires, says reports. Syed also confessed about cheating models who approach him to take part in the fashion shows he has been conducting.

In the investigation, it has also been revealed that some of the students who study fashion technology became victims to Syed’s trap. Police confiscated Syed’s car which he used to approach girls sexually. He has been lodged in jail after being produced to the judge.
