2019 is going to start on a very thunderous note! Earlier, Thala Ajith had announced that his much-awaited film, Viswasam will be releasing the next Pongal. Rajinikanth also announced that Petta will be releasing around Pongal. Not only these two but Simbu’s “Vantha Rajava Thaan Varuven” & “LKG” are also on cards for Pongal release. This is going to be the biggest Pongal ever and we are eagerly looking forward to seeing how the films fare at the box office. All of these films star big actors and are highly anticipated ones in 2019.

Trade pundits state that if Petta and Viswasam hit the screens on the same date, it could affect the box office collection of both the films. It is being rumoured that Rajinikanth’s Petta might release on January 26 next year, if not on Pongal.
Both the films are posting updates in a daily manner. On Rajinikanth’s birthday, the teaser which was released by Petta crew stormed the internet and received very well by the audience whre as Viswasam crew released a single track from the film which also received very well.
They made it very hard for the audience to choose a movie to watch on the Pondal day. Meanwhile actor Vaibhav who is known for films like “Meyadha Maan”, “Mankatha” has answered one of a twitter user who asked which film he is going to watch first day first show on Pongal day.
