The heart-wrenching incident unfolded at Radha Swami Hospital, situated on Karhal Road in the Ghiror area of Mainpuri. Bharti, who had been suffering from a fever, was brought to the hospital on Tuesday. According to her aunt, Manisha, Bharti was seemingly in stable condition on Wednesday. However, her health took a drastic turn for the worse after receiving an injection administered by a doctor at the hospital.

It is alleged that instead of providing immediate and proper medical care, the doctor instructed the family to transport Bharti to another hospital, stating that there was nothing more they could do to help her. Shockingly, it was only then that the family discovered Bharti had already passed away. This revelation has left Bharti’s family traumatized, grieving, and seeking justice for their beloved daughter.

The situation escalated when the hospital staff, instead of assisting with the transfer of Bharti’s body or informing the family of her passing, reportedly callously placed her lifeless body on a motorcycle parked outside the facility. Subsequently, they fled the scene, leaving behind a distressing and reprehensible scene that has garnered widespread public outrage.

The gravity of the situation prompted immediate action from the District’s Chief Medical Officer, RC Gupta, who ordered the sealing of the hospital. An investigation team was dispatched to the hospital, only to find that there was neither a doctor nor any administrative staff present. Shockingly, it was discovered that the hospital’s operator was not a licensed medical practitioner, leading to the cancellation of his license.

Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, who oversees the state’s health department, wasted no time in issuing orders for action against the private hospital. The allegations of wrong treatment administered to Bharti and the subsequent negligence in handling her case have drawn strong condemnation from authorities and the public alike.
