Young Director Passed Away!! Film Industry Mourns

Tamil film director AV Arun Prasath who was supposed to debut in Tamil film industry with G.V Prakash’s “4G” died of tragic bike accident near Mettupalayam in Coimbatore. The filmmaker’s screen name is Venkat Pakkar and he worked with Shankar in Vikram starrer “I”. His debut film had Gayathri Suresh and Sathish in supportive roles. When the film’s producer CV Kumar is hoping for a right time to release the film, Unfortunately, Arun lost his life before his film was about to hit the screen.

Arun, a native of Annur was driving a bike and crashed into a lorry before losing his life. His debut film 4G was announced in the year 2016 and is touted to be a romantic fantasy drama. Camera for the film was cranked Velraj. This news of his demise shook the industry as many people from it are expressing their condolences to the family of the deceased.

“Heartbroken by the sudden demise of the young director and my ex-assistant, Arun. You were always sweet, positive and hardworking. My prayers are forever with you and my deepest condolences to your family and friends.” wrote director Shankar in his official twitter account to let his emotions out.

Actor and musician G.V Prakash said that he deeply saddened on hearing about the demise of his sweet brother and Director Venkat Pakkar who always treated him with friendship and confidence. “I offer my condolences to your friends and family members. I wish my friend’s soul to rest in peace.” he said in his tweet.
