As soon as the announcement from the actress surfaced, several media portals started reporting that actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is going to replace her in the serial. Actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar who is known among Tamil audience for appearing in films like Podaa Podee, Sarkar, came up with a tweet clearing the air.

She who is known for her outspoken attitude in public forums, asked media portals not spread such baseless rumours.
