Reacting to the accusation of BJP party members which includes Shefali Vaidya and Gayathri Raguram, Actor Siddharth uploaded a tweet saying that they are sharing one of his tweets by cropping the time and date. The film actor called Shefali Vaidya as “Cockroach” and asked her to have some shame. Members of BJP has been accusing Siddharth saying that he is supporting the violence that took place in West Bengal after Mamata Banerjee’s victory based on a tweet through which he said that Mamata is whacking “them” with “bartans”. The actor cleared the air saying that he posted the tweet as soon as Mamata won the election and not during the outrage. He also slammed Shefali vaidya for cropping the date and time of his tweet.
After the election results of West Bengal emerged on Monday, the state has been witnessing political violence. A video of miscreants who believed to be the supporters of Trinamool Congress setting BJP office on fire went viral in social media platforms. Prime Minister Narendra Modi contacted the West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar on Tuesday and expressed his concern over the violence in the state. The ongoing violence has led to the death of several party workers, and many of them have sustained severe injuries.
It has been reported that 4000 houses of BJP members were plundered due to the post result violence and a reports suggests that 14 people were died due to the outrage. Politicians of BJP party from across the state are condemning the act through their tweets. Shefali Vaidya whose bio says that she is an author, speaker and satirist, uploaded a tweet slamming actor Siddharth by sharing the screen shot of one of his tweets.

Kollywood dance choreographer cum politician Gayathri Raguramm also slammed Siddharth for the same tweet. However, both of their tweets didn’t show the date and timing of the tweet of the “Boys” actor.

In a way of replying to everyone who accused him for the tweet, Siddharth, in his reply to Shefali Vaidya’s tweet, wrote “Hi cockroach demon @ShefVaidya. I had to unblock you to comment on your diarrhoea. You shared this tweet without date and time. I tweeted this during election results. I just meant Didi slapped your uncles Modi and Shah with a bartan. Have some shame. Delete your mouth” and added “Also as a wonderful aside… A. Are there any Hindus in TMC? Or only your uneducated cult party has Hindus? B. Why are you lying about rapes that never happened? C. Do you know what empathy means, you evil, miserable soul?”

Actor Siddharth has been voicing out against the government of BJP since very long period and came down harder after the immense hike in the increase of COVID 19 positive cases in the country. Reacting to the violence in West Bengal, the actor wrote “No place burns unless one party loses. Think about that. They always win and the defeated just move on.
