Followed by “Motta” Baski, Famous Television presenter cum Music director James Vasanthan uploaded a post in his Facebook handle, saying that “Brahmins Are Supreme”. The musician said that he always saw people who belong to Brahmin community being successful and there’s no point in blaming them.
“A person sent me the video of Baski’s speech. I enjoyed it as usual. It didn’t affect me in any way. Instead, it reminded me of a truth, is what I believe” James Vasanthan said through his post.
“He says Brahminism is superior. I have no objection in that” said James and went on to name a number of fields such as sports, cinema and others, to mention that Brahmins are superior in those fields. “Everyone knows about it. How could we deny it?? Why should we deny it??” James asked.

“If his speech makes me angry or frustrated, it’s my inability. I will prepare myself to compete with them or I will isolate myself” James further added. “I’m learning many aspects from them” his post read.
“Beyond this, there is an accusation against them which says that they are grabbing the opportunities of others. I’m not agreeing with it completely” James said. “They have few strengths as well” he added.
“They have this strengths of providing their opinions with clarity, providing harsh opinions with humour, facing people whom they dislike with smile, Highlighting themselves among a group of people and being focused in their goals irrespective of the humiliations they are facing” James Vasanthan said.
“They are using these strengths appropriately and being successful. We have to practice enough to compete with them. Or else, we have to stay calm in our says” post of James Vasanthan read.
“I have to nurture my ability of running fast or else I have to run fast. I can’t blame a person who is running faster than me” he said. “I’m not talking about the person who prevents and pushes others while running, he is a bad person, irrespective of his caste. Ain’t it?” James asked.

The music director received flak for the statement he made from his followers and also came up with a clarification.
Check it out below :

Days ago, Popular movie reviewer cum actor and television anchor Baskar who is widely known as “Motta” Baaski became a subject to severe online troll for a statement he made about “Brahmin” community. The film and television celebrity said that it is the “Supreme” community in the world and suggested his fellow Brahmins to stay united through his speech.
The speech was made at the Thambraas Coimbatore Conference, presumably during three weeks ago. In the viral video which is doing rounds in social media platforms, Baski says that “Brahmins” and “Bramma” sounds similarly and it indicates that people who belong to Brahmin community are best in creative fields.
“For creativity, they would refer to lord “Bramma”. Best brains in the world is here and I would say that there is no big difference between “Brahmins” and “Bramma”. Brahmin community is known for creativity and it’s the Supreme community in the world. There’s no doubt about it” Baski said during his speech.
Further, he went on to mention about a casual banter that would take place between himself and his wife about the difference between “Iyer” and “Iyengar”. Baski said that they would argue about which one is superior in a friendly way. ” It would go in a friendly way. I would never fight with her because I feel that we should never fight with each other by being most brilliant brains in the world ” he further said and went on to add “we shouldn’t have less unity between us”.
