A shocking report on a woman named Manjula misused actress Keerthy Suresh’s picture to steal Rs. 41 lakh from an engineer named Parameshwar. It has been reported that the accused impersonated the “Sarkar” actress and cheated the victim by blackmailing to leak his private pictures.

The accused Manjula is hailing from Hassan district of Karnataka state. She reportedly opened a Facebook account by having the picture of actress Keerthy Suresh in DP after editing it a bit. She sent friend request from it to many men including Parameshwaran who belongs to Vijayapur district.

The duo started spending lot of time in online together. Manjula lied to Parameshwar saying that she is a college student and they shared phone numbers of each before interacting in whatsApp.

After few days, Manjula proposed Parameshwar and the man who is an engineer by profession, assuming that he is in a relationship with a college student, started sending her gifts. She then started extorting money from him in the pretext of paying college fees. He who fell in love with the girl whom he met online, started giving her money whenever she asked.

In the process, Manjula recorded a video of the victim taking bath without clothes and started blackmailing him. After sending her lakhs of money, the victim filed a police complaint stating that he got fed up with the mental harassment Manjula is causing him.

The officials of Cyber crime department started an investigation and found out that Manjula is not a college student but a mother of two children. During the investigation, it was revealed that Manjula’s husband was also involved in the scam. Police officials are currently involved in finding the husband whi got absconded.

Investigation revealed that Manjula has been living a luxurious life with a car, bike and 100 grams of gold and was also involved in building a house with the money she extorted. Further investigation is currently underway with officials keen on finding whether the accused cheated anyone else in similar manner.
