Followed by Anirudh Ravichander, Actor Vijay Sethupathi faced a question on not receiving gift from Producer Kamal Haasan post the success of “Vikram”. Similar to Anirudh, Vijay Sethupathi said that getting opportunity to share screen space with the veteran actor himself is a huge gift to him and he requires no more expensive gifts. Vijay made the answer in the promotional event of his upcoming film “Maamanithan” directed by Seenu Ramasamy.

“Vikram”, Kamal Haasan’s first film in the past four years, became a huge success in the box office by collecting more than Rs. 300 crores world wide, according to reports. After knowing about the film’s verdict, Kamal Haasan thanked fans and started surprising the crew members of “Vikram” in a way of celebrating the success.

The actor cum politician who is fondly called as “Ulaganaayagan” by the fans, surprised his director by gifting him a brand new Lexus car. A picture of actor/producer Kamal Haasan gifting an expensive Lexus ES 300 h model car to director Lokesh Kanagaraj did rounds in social media platforms post the success of Vikram. Apart from that, to everyone’s surprise, an information about Kamal Haasan presenting TVS Apache 160 bikes to the 13 assistant directors of Lokesh Kanagaraj has also surfaced.

Visiting actor Suriya’s house, Kamal Haasan gifted him a Rolex watch as a gift. On seeing such updates, a reporter, while questioning Vijay Sethupathi in the promotional event of his upcoming film “Maamanithan” and said “Santhanam is also a reason for the success of “Vikram”. Producer gifted Director, Assistant directors and others” and asked what Santhanam got ?”

Replying to him, Vijay Sethupathi said that sharing screenshot with Kamal Haasan was itself a huge gift for him. “I never, in my life, expected to meet him in person. Even while trying to get an opportunity as a junior artist for his “Nammavar” movie, I didn’t expect this to happen. He appeared as a chief guest for “Rummy” and “Naduvula Konjam Pakatha Kaanom” and I didn’t expect it then as well” Vijay Sethupathi said, in a way of expressing his love towards Kamal Haasan.

Similarly,  a reporter, while interacting with music director Anirudh Ravichander in the success press interaction, asked “Kamal sir gifted Lexus car to Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rolex watch to Suriya sir. What gift did you receive from him?”

Without delaying a second, Anirudh instantly answered “He gifted Vikram film to me” and left all the members in the hall including Lokesh Kanagaraj cheer for him.
