First look of “Atharva-The Origin”, a new age graphic novel which is going to have Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the titular role, got released four days ago by the former Indian captain himself in his official social media handles. In an attempt of teleporting the readers to a different level, the graphic novel which was authored by Ramesh Thamilmani, headed by MVM Vel Mohan and produced by Vincent Adaikalaraj and Ashok Mnohar, features over 150 lifelike illustrations to present the racy, gripping narrative.

The motion posted showed MS Dhoni in a warrior-like look by wielding deadly weapons in both his hands, kicking his enemy. The poster gave fans a glimpse into the world of Atharva and a speak peek into the first look of the cricketer as a super hero.

Watch the motion poster below :

Kollywood actor Silambarasan shared the motion poster in his Twitter timeline and wished his two friends Ramesh Thamilmani and Chandrika for the innovative creation. “#MSDhoni @msdhoni in a never before seen avatar! Check out the graphic novel @atharvaorigin authored by dear friend @ramesharchi and scripted by @shiva_chandrika! Very proud of the two of you and wish you only the best in the journey of #AtharvaTheOrigin” Simbu’s tweet read.

Prior uploading the tweet which promotes “Atharva-The Origin”, Simbu deleted a tweet about the same. The now-deleted tweet referred Dhoni as Thala and the “Vallavan” actor removed it as soon as uploading it in his twitter handle through which he is enjoying 4 lakh plus followers. However, fans had enough time to capture the screen shot of the tweet and commented about the same in STR’s newly altered tweet.

Check out some of them below :

Reacting to the comments, Hariharan Gajendran, spokesperson of actor Simbu, came up with a tweet saying that Simbu didn’t want to hurt the sentiments of Ajith fans by mentioning MS Dhoni as “Thala” as the fans of the actor are still referring the “Mankatha” actor as “Thala” despite their idol announced he didn’t want them to call him using that tag name.

Hari said that Simbu shared the tweet as given to him initially and re-posted it considering the fans of actor Ajith. “The content was shared as given to brother
@SilambarasanTR_ & understanding the word Thala is referred to #Ajith sir even though he has asked not to refer so, he re posted to avoid hurting the sentiment. No intentions here. Just a share as asked by a friend that’s it. #MSDhoni” his tweet read.
