Popular dancer Sunitha who rose to fame after participating in “Cooku with Comali” show lashed out at the “Make My Trip” app for scheduling her trip to Chennai from Guwahati without her knowledge. She uploaded a series of stories in her official Instagram account expressing her frustration over how her visit to Chennai got delayed due to the organizers of “Make my trip”.

Being an Indian online travel company founded in the year 2000, “Make my trip” provides online travel services including flight tickets, domestic and international holiday packages, hotel reservations, rail, and bus tickets. Sunitha, through her recent stories, vented out on how her trip got collapsed due to “Make My Trip” which failed to inform her about the change in the journey.

“I would never upload these kind of videos but I have to. It is an awareness video. I think everybody must have heard of an app called “Make My Trip” which helps us to book flight tickets and hotel tickets. I heard about it like everyone else and booked a couple of tickets for myself and my sister from Guwahati to Chennai on 3rd of August” Sunitha starts narrating the ordeal she went through.

“We were aware of the halt in Kolkata in between the single day journey from Guwahati to Chennai. It was said that it will be like a “stop” in Kolkata. But what “Make my trip” had done, is, without any prior information, without even asking the customers, they made the trip from Guwahati to Kolkata on 3rd of August and shifted the travel from Kolkata to Chennai for the next day, that is on 4th of August” Sunitha says.

“This means, me and my sister have to stay a whole night in Kolkata to reach Chennai, the next day. Before making such a huge change, they didn’t even inform or asked permission from us. They changed it themselves. Ok, let it be a technical problem or something. No one approached from “Make my trip” to make a refund or anything for what they did. No proper customer care service as well” Sunitha blasted.

“No response at all. When we called Air India, they said that we booked through “Make my trip” which is a third party. They asked us to contact “Make my trip”. When we finally got a response from “Make My Trip”, they said that it will take 180 days to get a refund. So I am asking you guys, you changed my flight tickets, that too, not from Guwahati to Chennai. Why should I stay a whole night at Kolkata and take the next day flight to reach Chennai ? Seriously ? You could have cancelled my whole ticket and changed my ticket to the next day.” she expressed her frustration.

“When we questioned, there was no one to respond. When you do these kind of things, it really checks everybody’s patience” She said. Watch the video below :
