Video of actress Shobana who shared screen space with Superstar Rajinikanth in the evergreen “Thalapathy”, opening about how Rajinikanth surprised the crew members of the film is doing rounds among the fans of the actor. In the video, Shobana shared on how Rajinikanth greeted everyone by visiting the shooting spot earlier than every one.

“Thalapathy” is a 1991 released crime drama film that included an ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Mammooty, Shobana, Banu priya, Nagesh and others. Directed by Manirathnam, music of the film was composed by Ilayaraja.

In a recent TV show, Shobana shared about how responsible Rajinikanth naturally was and the video is trending now. “He was at his peak at that time as he was a Superman. Now, too” Shobana started explaining about the incident.

“At that time, everything was an early morning call sheet. Mani rathnam was very particular about photography. He and Santhosh we’re always a team. Everyone thought Rajini sir won’t come to early morning shoot. Rajini sir didn’t like attending early morning shoot as he said “why are you making it difficult for sir” to which Mani sir replied “If 300 people can come, 301st person can also come” but everyone one of us insisted Mani sir not to shoot scenes with Rajini as we thought he won’t come” Shobana said.

“Rajini said also said that he can’t come that early. Around 3-4 am we have to climb a hill, no one will be there. Just a unit van and crew were climbing. At the top of the hill, a smal light of cigarette was seen” Shobana said.

“There was one person sitting there and having his smoke. He was the first person to come. “You thought I won’t come right. I’m here. No make up needed for me, just start shooting” he said. Those were the lovely moments, Thalapathy is a lovely film” Shobana added in the Malayalam television show.
