Thalapathy 63 is an upcoming 2019 Indian Tamil-language sports film written and directed by Atlee and produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment. The film has music composed by A. R. Rahman.

Earlier a news about the protagonist’s character name in the film did rounds in social media. It is said that Vijay’s character in the film is named Michael. However, the production house has not made any official comment on the rumour. The movie is said to be a sport drama and it is believed Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan to do a guest role in the movie.

Jackie Shroff, who made in Kollywood debut in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s Aaranya Kaandam, has worked in Tamil movies like Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan, Maayavan and working in a few films. There are lots of reports which claim that Jackie Shroff is playing the role of a villain in Thalapathy 63. However, there is no official word about it, yet.

While everything is going in a right pace, Now to our shock, an awkward news about the film and it’s crew going viral in social media websites. According to a video interview which was released in Galatta youtube channel, The story of Thalapathy 63 belongs to a youth named Selva.

Selvah in his interview says that he has many mutual friends with Director Atlee through which believes that the story would have been leaked and copied. He says that he initiated to make this story as a Biography initially after which he changed his mind for making it into a women based sports film based on “Slum soccer”.

Selvah also alleges that he pitched his story with big time production houses such as Y not studios and Dream warriors pictures who produced the documents regarding the process. He also says that he met more than 500 football players to take his script into next level.

Saying that he finished his story in the year 2017, he adds that he kept his film’s climax as a negative one. Selvah also informs about the meeting between his and Atlee. On November 2, Atlee and his manager met Selvah in the Star bucks which is placed opposite to Atlee’s office.

On the first meeting Atlee and his manager asked Selvah to point out the man who told Selvah about his project being shot as Thalapathy 63. While the anchor asked about Selvah demanding money for his script from the Thalapathy 63 production house, he denies it and says that it is a proof against him and he would have not been in the media if the production house has proof against him.

Meanwhile Thalapathy 63 shooting is currently being held in EVP film city with enormous number of co-artists. Rumours are also doing rounds that Shah Rukh Khan doing a Villain role in the movie.
