Director cum actor Naveen Mohamedali who is pretty much active social media platforms, raising voice for the justice, came up with a tweet condemning a woman named as Kavita Senthil Kumar who identifies herself as a worker of BJP Mahila Morcha. The filmmaker got irked on seeing the woman degrading VCK leader and active member of parliament, Thol. Thirumavalavan through her tweet. Along with the filmmaker, many others, including VCK member and former Galatta host Vikraman demanded legal action against Kavita for her tweet.

Days ago, controversial personality Meera mitun got arrested for a video she released degrading the people who belong to Scheduled Caste. Chennai Police of Cyber crime branch arrested Meera Mitun in Kerala on Sunday. The actress failed to appear for the investigation and refused to give a valid explanation for not responding to the summon of the Cyber crime police. Central crime branch police booked Meera Mitun under SC/ST prevention of atrocities act for using casteist slur in one of her recent videos. The First information report was filed on a complaint made by Vanni Arasu, Viduthalai Siruthai Katchi.

Now, on seeing the tweet of Kavita, Naveen asked what’s the difference between herself and Meera MItun. Adding a picture of the VCK leader donning Veshti and Shirt and posing for a picture amidst his favourite books, she referred to a popular local saying in Tamil nadu and compared the leader with a dog. “எதையோ குளிப்பாட்டி நடு வீட்டுல வைச்சுருகாங்க…” caption of her post read.

Condemning the tweet, Naveen wrote “It is a highly condemnable post. What’s the difference between Meera MItun’s speech and this post ? If you would have read the books that were place behind him, your language wouldn’t have gone this cheaper. Your post shows what kind of books you are reading” Naveen said in his tweet and tagged Chief minister of Tamil nadu, Udhayanithi Stalin and Twitter management.
