Ever since the first look promotional posters of “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal” released, a number of online users are seen opining that Vijay Sethupathi is a miscast to the film and some other hero could have done the role of “Rambo” character which is being loved by two beautiful women “kanmani” and “khathija”. However, reacting to a tweet, Samantha confirmed that both herself and Nayanthara wouldn’t have accepted to act in the film if Vijay Sethupathi was not there.

The much expected “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal” starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha released on 28th of April in the big screens. The film which was jointly produced by Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara through their production banner “Rowdy Pictures”, starred Prabhu, cricketer Sreeshanth, Dance choreographer Kala in the supporting roles.

Touted to be a film on “Polyamory”, the film is based on a humorous love triangle between Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha and Nayanthara. After releasing on 28th of April, the film is receiving mixed reactions from the fans and critics.

However, ever since the first look posters and videos of the film released, many of the viewers said that Vijay Sethupathi is a miscast to the film as he seems to have put on weight and it looks unappealing to see two gorgeous girls loving him despite knowing that he also loves another person. Few even stated that actor Simbu who recently reduced his weight and delivered a transformation would have been perfect for the role.

However, actress Samantha confirmed that herself and Nayanthara wouldn’t have accepted to act in the film if the hero was not Vijay Sethupathi.
