Initially, the role of Aishwarya, Mullai’s (Kaavya Arivumani) cousin and Kannan’s love interest, was played by Vaishali Thaniga. However, the role was later taken over by VJ Deepika. In the show, Kannan marries Aishwarya without their families’ consent, leading to a series of twists and turns.

Currently, the role of Aishwarya is being played by Sai Gayathri, who gained fame from her role in Eeramana Rojave. After leaving the show, Deepika took to Instagram and posted a reel, thanking everyone for supporting her portrayal of Aishu (her character’s name). She also added, “I might not be Aishwarya anymore, but I will always be Deepika who did Aishwarya’s role, so don’t forget me.”

Sai Gayathri, who is currently playing the role of Aishwarya, posted Deepika’s reels on Instagram and replied with well wishes. It is heartening to see the positive exchange between the two actresses and their mutual respect for each other.
