VJ Archana who is known for appearing in Vijay TV’s “Raja Rani” serial, reacted to the comment dropped by Chinmayi in one of her recent posts in which she was seen posing with lyricist Vairamuthu. Archana said that she didn’t even  react to the comment of Chinmayi and it was just her “fan girl” moment with Vairamuthu.

Enjoying more than 1 million followers for her Instagram handle, Archana has a separate fan base for the role she played in the television serial named “Raja Rani” which is a remake of Star Plus’s Hindi series Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Apart from acting, Archana is known for hosting shows and engaging her Instagram followers by uploading reel videos and photographs from her photoshoots. Months ago, she announced that her journey in Raja Rani serial going to end as she is eyeing for a change in her career.

Days ago, the actress came up with a post in her Instagram handle in which she was seen posing with veteran lyricist Vairamuthu. “Look Whom I have bumped into” added Archana as her caption and confirmed that the meet took place amidst shoot.

Among the many comments, the one which was dropped by singer Chinmayi received huge attention from the Instagram users. She who accused the lyricist of sexually harassing her earlier, said that it is how “it” exactly starts and warned the TV actress to be wary and careful.

Years ago, Chinmayi Sripaada has accused Vairamuthu by alleging that she was asked to “cooperate” and visit him in a hotel. In the wake of #MeToo movement, there were plenty of other women who have accused Vairamuthu on the basis on anonymity. But singer Chinmayi chose to tweet. She had recalled an incident that a concert organiser asked her to “cooperate” and visit Vairamuthu in his hotel room. The award winning singer said that the traumatic incident happened in 2005 or 2006.

Talking about Chinmayi’s comment on her post, Archana said that she zipped her mouth as usual. “Basically, my father is a Tamil professor and I’m a big fan of Vairamuthu sir’s writings. Its a fan girl moment” said Archana and explained how the meeting between them took place.

Archana also said that she never met Chinmayi personally before. “People will keep talking, we can’t control them. No matter whether people understands that it is just a fan girl moment” she further added.
