Actor Vijay’s mother Shoba Chandrasekhar, in a recent interview with a private youtube channel, had said that she watched “Beast” and told her review about the film to him. She also shared about how Vijay responded to her review for the film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Mrs. Shoba said that she reviews all the film of Vijay and the most unforgettable movie experience of her is “Thuppakki”. The particular video of Shoba Chandrasekar talking about “Beast” is trending in the internet platforms.

“Beast”, actor Vijay’s most anticipated flick which got released on 13th of April ,ran successfully in theatres with mixed reviews from fans. The film which revolves around a group of terrorists hijacking a shopping mall with 200 plus civilians to make the government release their head, shows Vijay as Veera Raghavan, a Raw agent who is fond of kids. Being a skillful spy, Veera Raghavan who gets caught inside the mall with public, manages to escape a sum of civilians from the terrorists and claims that he is from another group that belongs to Bangladesh.

The terrorists group which decides to give up, finds out that the claim made by Raghavan is a lie and successfully releases their head from prison. Rest of the film relies on how the protagonist re-arrests the terrorist group head by entering Pakistan. Actor Vijay, for the first time, played the role of a raw agent in the film. Post release, the film caught into so many controversies due to its weak screenplay and uninteresting plot.

Retired jet pilots shared clips from the movie and questioned about the logic loopholes in the scenes where Vijay operated fighter jets. Recently, actor Shine Top Chacko who played the role of one of the terrorists blamed the film and said that it is not a good entry for I’m to enter Tamil cinema. Now, actor Vijay’s mother Shoba Chandrasekhar, in an interview, had shared about her review on “Beast”.

“I would always watching his films in Sathyam theatre, first day first show along with the audience. I always liked to watch his films as a fan. I won’t hurt him while reviewing his film. I have told him my opinions about all his films including the recent one and my most favourite one is Thuppakki” said Vijay’s mother in the interaction.

“I can’t forget Thuppakki. I would watch the movie completely whenever it gets telecasted in Television. I love the film start to end. While reviewing his film to him, I wouldn’t hurt him and would only tell about wat I liked” She said and further shared about her review on “Beast”.

“For the recently released film, I said that the film was entertaining and I couldn’t tell anything more about it. Vijay responded saying that the film is getting mixed reviews and the result ill be known in two, three days” Shoba Chandrasekhar further said.
