Directed by debutant filmmaker Delhi Prasad Deenadayal, Vijay Sethupathi’s Tughlaq Darbar has been pegged as a fantasy comedy with dialogues by Balaji Tharaneetharan, and cinematography by 96-director Prem Kumar. Produced by Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio, the film is expected to go on floors soon.
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari and Manjima Mohan has been roped in to play the female leads in this upcoming flick of the actor. Tughlaq Darbar also stars R Parthiban, who has acted in Vijay Sethupathi’s Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Govind Vasantha, who composed the music for the Tamil star’s 96, is again teaming up with the actor in Tughlaq Darbar.
Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in the film Sindhubaadh, which turned out to be a flop. The actor is part of films like Kadaisi Vivasayi, Sanga Thamizhan, Laabam and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Now, Vijay Sethupathi who participated in the Pooja of Tuglaqh Darbar film, thanked everyone who attended the event, except the few who welcomed him by bursting crackers.
Vijay Sethupathi is one of the very few actors who gained most number of fans in a short period of career span. He is known for his affection towards his fans as we have seen several pictures of him kissing his fans. Now the actor got dejected over the activity of them bursting crackers during his arrival to the event.
While concluding his speech, Vijay Sethupathi said, “I thank everyone who attended this event. I express my disappointment to those who gave the idea of bursting crackers” he said.

According to Indiaglitz, the event took place at Thalapathy Vijay’s marriage hall. As it was located in busy Vadapalani, the activity of bursting crackers caused traffic jam. Vijay Sethupathi who disliked this kind of celebration, in a way of stopping his fans from involving in such activities, expressed his disappointment during his speech.
Further the actor praised the director, producer and heroine of the film for their respective skills in the Pooja. Interestingly, Vijay Sethupathi is also committed in a project of ace cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan’s biography. Fans are very much eager to witness the actor as the most number of wicket taker in Test cricket. Meanwhile his blockbuster movie Vikram Vedha is going to be remade in Bollywood with Amir Khan replacing the “Vedha” role which was done by Vijay Sethupathi.
