Director Vignesh Shivan who is actively participating in the promotional interviews of his upcoming film “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal”, opened about directing the most romantic scene in “Naanum Rowdy Thaan” after getting committed to Nayanthara as her boyfriend. The filmmaker revealed that Nayan called him a “psycho” after acting in that particular scene.

Vignesh Shivan debuted to Tamil film industry through Simbu’s “Podaa Podee”. The filmmaker developed a romantic relationship with Nayanthara during the making of his second film “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan”. After the success of the romcom, Vignesh Shivan directed actor Suriya in “Thaana Serntha Kootam”. He also started a production house with Nayanthara and named it as “Rowdy Pictures” with which he is producing “Nettri Kann” by having Nayanthara in the lead role. Some other films such as “Rocky”, “Koozhangal” are also going to get released under the banner.

The “NRD” maker and the lead lady of the film are in relationship for more than 6 years and fans, media never missed to question them about their marriage whenever the duo appears together in public events or through Wikki’s Instagram space where he often uploads the picture of himself and the seasoned actress.

Now, after “NRD”, the Vignesh Shivan – Nayanthara- Vijay Sethupathi combo joined hands for “Kaathuvakkula Rendu Kaadhal”. The film is scheduled to release on 28th of April and the promotional activities are in full swing. Vignesh Shivan and Vijay Sethupathi were seen providing interviews for various YouTube channel.

While interacting with Cinema Vikatan, Vignesh Shivan opened on how personal “Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal” film is for him and Nayanthara. The filmmaker said that they were planning to marry each other after completing “KRK” in the year 2016 but various hurdles including COVID restrictions made it happen only now, in 2022.

Vignesh Shivan also shared about how he shot the most romantic intervel block scene in “Naanum Rowdy Thaan” after getting committed to Nayanthara as her boyfriend. “We were in love when half of the shooting of “Naanum Rowdy Thaan” got completed. After falling in love, we shot that “kiss” scene. At that time, Nayan hinted me that I can modify the position of both of them to shoot the scene, thinking that I will feel uncomfortable ” Vignesh Shivan said.
