Suguna Singh, Chengalpattu district’s Superintendent of Police, on Saturday evening, uploaded a video in his official twitter handle to create awareness for the youths who opt for inappropriate way of riding bikes to get likes and shares in social media platforms. The police official who has been creating awareness on road safety and cyber safety through his twitter account, said that dangerous way of riding two wheeler could lead to death.

Many of the online users who witnessed the video shared by the higher official, felt that those kind of youths are causing harm not only for themselves but also for the innocent public people.

Youths opting for rash driving in busy roads for self pleasure became a fashion in this new digital era. Most of them are involving in such endangering activities only to grab the attention of others in roads and in social media platforms.

Instagram handles, YouTube channels are being operated exclusively only to earn followers and subscribers by uploading videos that shows youths risking their lives through riding two wheelers dangerously.

In a way of creating awareness for such youths, Chengalpattu SP Suguna Singh, on Saturday, uploaded a video in his official Twitter handle which shows a youth miserably failing in his stunt and getting severely injured, nearly escaping from death.

The video shows a youth in his 20s riding his high end bike with another one recording the video of it, presumably to upload it in social media platforms. The youth goes past kids, a car and other vehicles in a rash manner. Terrifying his fellow riders in the public, the youth, after crossing an auto and a parked car loses control and shakes.

Unable to press brake or slow the vehicle, the youth after going through multiple shakes, falls down with his bike skating in front of him. Nearly escaping from his head getting hurt by the wheel of another vehicle, the youth survives with severe injuries.

Sharing the video in his twitter timeline, SP Sughuna Singh wrote “Don’t do circus to get likes in Facebook and Instagram. If you deny controlling yourself in a 4 feet road, you will be having to get rest in 6 feet land” in his tweet.

Many of the police official’s followers slammed such youths and insisted on taking severe action against them. “He went right under the wheel. Very narrow escape. These guys put others life in Danger” a social media user wrote whereas another one wanted such youths to do duty in Stanely government hospital’s emergency ward as punishment ”
