A viral video that shows a teenage boy tying mangalsutra to a a girl who was wearing a school uniform is going viral in the internet platforms with netizens expression their displeasure over it. The incident reportedly happened in Chidambaram, Tamilnadu and the video which gone viral has caused a legal case against the kids.

In the video which is going viral in the social media platforms, a number of their friends could be heard encouraging them to get married to each other. It has been reported that the video was captured at a bus stand near Gandhi statue located in Chidambaram district.

Going by the reports, the girl is currently studying plus two and the boy who tied knot to her is a Polytechnic student.

As soon as the video went viral in internet, a number of social media users expressed their displeasure over kids involving in such act during their teenage.

“College girls are behaving well these days but the state of school girls are worsening day by day, Parents must monitor their school bag, mobile phone” a social media user said after seeing the video whereas another one said “Both should be arrested. Not only the boy. The girl should also be arrested”

 Police officials of Chidambaram district has filed a case regarding the same after the video went viral and has initiated the investigation. Not many days ago, the Cuddalore all women Police arrested a 23 year old Dhikshithar (a priest) who belongs to the Chidambaram Nadarajar Kovil area on charges of marrying a minor girl. Along with the man, his father and the father of the victim also got arrested for performing a child marriage. The incident happened nearly one tear ago, according to reports.

The accused who married the married girl has been identified as Pasupathy Dhikshithar. The youth’s father has been identified as Ganapathy Diskhithar and the girl’s father is Somasekhar Dikshithar and both are 40 years old, according to reports which added that they are the temple’s hereditary priests and custodians.

Pasupathy has been booked by Police officials under the section 9 (punishment for male adult marrying a girl child) and the two others under section 10 (punishment for solemnizing a child marriage) of the Prohibition of Child marriage act, 2006. The officials produced the accused before a magistrate who remanded them on a judicial custody.
