We have seen verbal spats taking place between the fans of two different actors in social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Now, for the first time, fans of actor Vijay are fighting between themselves after getting separated to tow groups-Vijay fans who support director Atlee and Vijay fans who dislikes director Atlee.

Atlee is arguably one of the most loved and hated filmmaker of Tamil cinema right now. Being a former assistant of Shankar, Atlee’s way of presenting his films and the castings he choose for the characters are considered as his major qualities. All the four films of Atlee became blockbusters despite of the plagiarism controversies. His recent release “BIGIL” has reportedly collected 300 crores in the box office. The film marks the third collaboration of the duo, after “Theri” and “Mersal”.

Though “Bigil” impressed the majority number of fans of actor Vijay, the video clippings of other language movies which surfaced in social media platforms to accuse the scenes of Bigil to be copied ones, irked few fans. However, a separate set of fans defended the skills of director Atlee by saying that he is the one who gave Vijay the change he needed. They pointed the characters like Vettri Maaran in Mersal and Rayappan in Bigil to make others understand that Atlee helped actor Vijay to raise his standards in film industry.
