Venkat Prabhu Replied To The Fans Who Got Disappointed Due To The Cancellation Of Shows!!

The most awaited “Manmatha Leelai” of Venkat Prabhu was supposed to release on 1st of April. Unfortunately, in most of the theatres, first two shows of the film got cancelled due to KDM issue and fans who got disappointed by after visiting the theatres, vented their frustration out by tagging and tweeting to Venkat Prabhu.

The filmmaker replied to many of the individuals by expressing his apology. A fan said that he walked to theatre in the hot weather two times but the show got cancelled both the times. Another fan tweeted saying that he bunked his college to watch the film and waited for a long time but got disappointed.

Venkat Prabhu responded to many of them and asked “Sorry”. Actor Ashok Selvan who played the protagonist in the film, replied to some of the fans asking “Sorry” as well. The film’s release got postponed after a case was filed by Flying Horse company against Rockfort Entertainment who produced “Manmatha Leelai” for not paying Rs. 2 crore for the distribution rights of “Irandam Kuthu” film.

Investigating the case, Judge ordered to release the “Manmatha Leelai” film with one condition. Judge M. Sundar of Highcourt ordered Rockfort entertainment to deposit Rs. 30 lakh in four weeks to release “Manmatha Leelai” film. However, the issue directly affected the audience who eagerly reached theatre to watch the film.
