The most awaited first look of Vijay’s 66th project got released a day ahead of his 48th birthday. Titled as “Varisu”, the poster is receiving mixed reactions from the online fans as the film incidentally became the actor’s one of the most less hyped movies in recent times. The poster showed Vijay donning a coat suit in the background which is seemingly a foreign country. “The Boss Returns” read the caption under the title “Varisu which is expected to be Vijay’s come back movie due to the disappointment “Beast” provided to his fans.

Actor Vijay shared the title look in his official twitter handle and the post garnered 100k plus likes in no time.

Amidst the several kind of reactions that surfaced for the poster, movie reviewer Blue Satta Maaran came up with a tweet predicting the story of the film. Maaran, through his tweet, compared the upcoming movie of Vijay with a Hollywood film that got released in the year 2008. Titled as Largo Winch, the film is about a secret adoptive son of a millionaire who got killed, proving his legitimacy and finding the killers of his father.

Sharing the posters of both the film, mood of which looked the same, Maaran wrote “Larco Winch 2008 Film: After a powerful billionaire is murdered, his secret adoptive son must race to prove his legitimacy, find his father’s killers, and stop them from taking over his financial empire. Varisu – Official remake or Inspiration or Copy?” in his post.

Directed by Vamdi Paidipally, the film’s ensemble cast includes, Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Samyuktha, Khushbu, Yogi babu and others. Dil Raju is producing the film under his own banner “Sri Venkateshara Creations”.

However, we have wait till the release of the film to conclude about the origin of it. The film is expected to release around January 2023.
