Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan who promised to get “Valimai” update to Thala fans prior election, came up with a tweet saying that the motion poster of the film got released because of her. The tweet garnered wide reach with twitter users trolling the BJP member, asking her to be more responsible for the people of her constituency who made her win. A set fans also condemning the politician for stealing the credits for the release of “Valimai” motion poster as many fans have been demanding the update across the globe.

On 14th of March, a twitter user requested Vanathi Srinivasan to get him “Valimai” update and she replied to him saying ““Valimai film’s update will reach you as soon as I win the upcoming poll my younger brother”

“Valimai” is an upcoming film of actor Ajith Kumar who enjoys a huge fan base in Tamil film industry. Making of the film got halted due to the COVID 19 outbreak and fans who have been waiting for nearly two years to witness Ajith kumar on screen, have started demanding the film crew to give them a glimpse of the film such as teaser, trailer, first look. Even International cricket and football stadiums witnessed placard demanding “Valimai” update.

On the evening of Sunday, the team released a motion poster of the film which promised a complete action thriller. Ajith kumar was shown as a bike racer and he also could be seen taking up the bad guys. A series of posters were released through the motion poster and fans of the actor went gaga over it.

Now, after the makers of Valimai released the motion poster of it, among the several reactions and accolades, Vanathi Srinivasan came up with a tweet writing “Valimai Update arrived as soon as I won the election”. “ValimaiUpdate -> #ValimaiUpdated நான் வெற்றி பெற்றவுடன் வலிமை அப்டேட் வந்து விட்டது” she said by adding happy emojis.
