Not many days ago, Redin Kingsley of “Doctor” fame revealed to a daily that he plays a pivotal role in legendary comedian Vadivelu’s “Nai Sekhar Returns” directed by Suraaj. Kingsley said that Vadivelu lauded him for the performance he displayed in “kolamaavu Kokila” of Nayanthara- Nelson Dileepkumar. Now, a report about Vadivelu calling off a day’s shoot because of Kingsley has got surfaced.

According to a report of DT Next, Redin Kingsley delayed to make his presence for the shooting of an important scene in “Naai Sekar Return”. Vadivelu who waited for a two long hours along with the entire unit, got upset over the lack of punctuality of the upcoming comedian and called off the shooting for the day. The “Imsai Arasan” actor also waited for Kingsley to arrive the spot and gave him his piece of mind, says the report.

The incident which was happened on Wednesday, has made headlines across the news portals as Redin Kingsley is also playing a role in Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film “Beast”. It is reported that the team of “Naai Sekar returns” were planning to shoot an important scene with the presence of all the artists in Chennai. Redin Kingsley was also the part of the scene which had the combination of himself with the seasoned comedian.

After donning the make up, Vadivelu was all set to face the camera along with the other stars. Director Suraaj informed Vadivelu that Redin Kingsley hasn’t made his presence yet. Vadivelu patiently waited for two long hours and took his make up off and called it a a “pack up” for the day. It didn’t stop there as Vadivelu waited Redin to arrive the spot without leaving.

After meeting Redin Kingsley at 2 : 30 PM, Vadivelu gave the emerging comedian a piece of his mind. As the shoot was cancelled, entire unit were informed that the important scene will be shot on the next day. The film “Naai Sekar” returns marks Vadivelu’s official come back to the Tamil film industry after a long gap. With Bigg Boss fame Shivani Narayanan playing the lead role, actors Anand Raj and Seshu are playing supporting roles, says reports.

The film’s music is being composed by Santhosh Narayanan and a song which was sung by Vadivelu himself got composed in London. The film’s plot revolves around Vadivelu and a bunch of several several breeds of dogs. Vadivelu was last seen in Mersal which was released in the year 2017. Meanwhile, Redin Kingsley who did a dozen number films including “Netri Kann”, “Annatthe”, “Doctor” last year, is expected to be seen in “Etharkkum Thuninthavan”, “Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal”, “Beast”, Idiot”, “Agent kannayiram” etc.
