Along with the cinema celebrities and other politicians, supporters of party BJP, actress Khushbu who produced a film named “Aranmanai” by having Siddharth in the lead, called out the actor for a tweet he uploaded replying to Saina Nehwal’s claim on PM Modi getting attacked in Punjab. Khushbu, tweeting to Siddharth, said that he is a friend but she didn’t expecting it from him. Mentioning the parents of the actor, the actress said that “uncle and aunty wouldn’t be proud of me” and advised him not to get carried with his hatred towards and individual.

It all started after Tamil nadu based Pan Indian Actor Siddharth posted a reply tweet to India’s Badminton Champion Saina Nehwal who claimed that Prime minister Narendra Modi got attacked in PUnjab. Saina Nehwal said that no nation can claim itself to be safe if the security of its own Prime minister is compromised and condemned the “cowardly” “attack” on Prime minister Narendra Modi.

Replying to her tweet, Siddharth sarcastically thanked God and termed Saina Nehwal as a “protector” of the nation and called Saina as a “Subtle cock Champion” in his tweet. He also condemned globally acclaimed pop singer Rihanna who uploaded a tweet supporting Indian farmers earlier. “Subtle cock champion of the world… Thank God we have protectors of India. Shame on you #Rihanna” said Siddharth in his tweet while replying to Saina.

After the tweet created huge outrage among some of the influential personalities, Siddarth came up with an explanation writing “COCK & BULL. That’s the reference. Reading otherwise is unfair and leading! Nothing disrespectful was intended, said or insinuated. Period”

However, the outrage didn’t stop as many other celebrities raised voice against the actor. Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina came up with a tweet stretching his voice for athlete. Meanwhile, actress cum politician Khushbu who interviewed Siddharth for a television channel and produced a film by having him in the lead, uploaded a tweet calling the actor.

It is notable that Sundar C, husband of the actress, delivered a blockbuster named “Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumaruu” with Siddharth.

Actress cum politician Gayathri Raguramm, Singer Chinmayi, Film director Mohan G are some of the celebrities who called out the actor through their tweets. National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma wrote to Maharashtra DGP requesting them to file a case on Siddharth before issuing a statement against the actor as well.
