After Kolkata Knight Riders comfortably won the match against Rajasthan Royals and registered their berth for the play offs, trolls attacking Mumbai Indians are flooding the social media platforms. Team Mumbai and fans of it were hoping for the Morgan led team to lose the match in a large margin in order to qualify for the play offs. A statement made by Rohit Sharma after winning Rajasthan Royals by chasing their target in just 8 overs is also being subjected to massive troll.

“I feel in this tournament, any team is capable of beating anyone. Kolkata Knight Riders is playing before us and we will know exactly what to do” said the Mumbai captain in the post match presentation after winning Rajasthan Royals. Now, in the match against Kolkata Knight riders, Rajasthan Royals faced a huge loss. Chasing 171 runs, the team scored only 85 runs. With the win, net run rate of the Morgan team increased and they sealed their fourth spot in the table.

Now, the only chance for Mumbai to qualify for the play offs is to win their match against Sunrisers Hyderabad by a margin of 171 runs. Sadly, it is the only scenario for them to qualify. If Kane Williamson wins the toss and decides to bats first, Mumbai will be eliminated then and there. So, the blue team has to score 300 plus runs after winning toss and restrict SRH within 120 runs to qualify for the playoffs.
