Trailer of “Bachchan Pandey”, official remake of 2014 Tamil blockbuster “Jigarthanda” got released in Youtube with many fans of Tamil cinema reacting in various ways. Fans from Bollywood cinema are raving about the 3 minute 14 seconds long trailer which showed the glimpses of almost all the important scene from the film. With Akshay Kumar playing the lead, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez are playing the supportive roles.

The plot of “Jigarthanda” revolved around an ageing gangster and an aspiring filmmaker who wants to make a film out of his life story. With Bobby Simha playing “Assault Sedhu”, pan Indian actor Siddharth played as “Karthick”, an aspiring filmmaker from “Naalaiya Iyakkunar”. The racy screenplay of the film gained Karthick Subbaraj accolades from all over the country and Bobby Simha won national award in “Best supporting actor” category for the role he played in “Jigarthanda” which is considered as a cult classic among Tamil fans.

Through the railer of the Hindi version, we could understand that Akshay replaced Bobby Simha and the makers have replaced the character of Karthick with a female character by casting Kriti Sanon. Pankaj Tripathi is going to do the role of Somasundran who played as acting teacher.
