A youth named Boopathi committed suicide after knowing about the two children of his online girl friend. According the News 18, the woman named Amrin, after pretending to be a college studying girl, involved in a romantic relationship with Boopathi through an online mobile application. Boopathi who went to meet her, came to know that she is a mother of two children and killed himself in her home, according to the news portal.

In Puthupalayam of Chengam, Thiruvannamalai, Amrin is living with her husband and two children. Boopathi who belongs to Selayur of Tambaram fell in love with her through an online mobile application named Yoyo, says the report of News 18.

Amrin who introduced herself as a college studying student to Boopathi, initially befriended him through the app. Their friendship turned love and the duo were involved in a romantic relationship for the past 8 months. On 20th of February, Boopathi lied to his parents about meeting his friend in Salem and left to meet Amrin in Thiruvannamalai.

After meeting her in person, Boopathi came to know that the woman with whom he was romancing for the past eight months virtually, is a mother of two children. However, as the husband of Amrin was not in town, the duo stayed together in her house. On Monday, Amrin locked the door of her house leaving Boopathi inside and left to a nearby shop.

Amrin got shocked seeing Boopathi hanging from the ceiling as a dead body when she came back from the shop. She immediately reached the nearby police station and informed about it to them. Police officers who rushed to the spot, recovered the body and confiscated the Mangal Sutra and cell phone from him.
