Three People Dead & 10 Injured In Indian 2 Sets !! Kamal, Kajal Reacted

This horrific update from the crew of Shankar-Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is not something we fans wished to hear. Sources revealed that a light set-up on top of a crane fell on the crew who were at the spot. The rope that was used to hold up the set-up gave way, according to reports. Three technicians were killed and as many as 10 people got badly injured.

Identified as Assistant Director Krishna, Art Assistant Chandran, Production Assistant Madhu, the technicians died right at the spot, which shook the entire industry. Sharing this news, Lyca Productions which is producing the sequel of 1996 blockbuster, expressed its condolences through their official social media account.

Sharing this heart breaking news, Kamal Haasan who was at the sets during the accident, wrote “Though I face several accidents throughout my career, Today’s accident is the most horrific one. I have lost three of my colleagues. More than my pain, the distress of their family members will be many times greater. I participate in their grief. My deepest condolences to them”

Followed by this tweet, he posted another one at the wee hours of 20th February. The actor said that he visited the injured workers at the hospital and talked to the doctors. “The first aid was done and works for appropriate treatments for the injured is taking place. Let us believe for them to recover soon” he said in his tweet.

Actress Kajal Agarwal who is playing the role of the lead lady in the film also shared what she went through last night. She said that all it took was a fraction of second to take place. The actress said that she learnt the value of time and life through the accident who expressed her condolences for Madhu, Krishna, Chandran.

According to reports, Director Shankar was working close to the spot and had a miraculous escape. The shooting took place in the EVP film city of Poonamallee, Chennai.
