Dalip Singh Rana who is popularly known as “The Great Khali” among the fans of World Wrestling Entertainment joined the BJP party on Thursday. The Wrestler’s inclusion into the party comes days ahead of the Punjab Assembly Polls. Punjab is going to go on polls on 20th of February and the counting of Votes is going to take place on 10th of March.

“I am glad to have joined BJP party and I feel the PM’s work for the nation makes him the right Prime minister. So, I thought why not be a part of his governance for the nation’s development”, The Great Khali said and added that he was influenced by the party’s national policy at the BJP’s headquarter in New Delhi.

Khali made his professional wrestling debut in the year 2000. He debuted on an episode of Smack down and he went on to start a feud with “The Undertaker”. Prior that, the fitness enthusiast was an officer for the Punjab Police. He was serving as an Assistant Sub-Inspector for the state. During his WWE career which spanned for 14 long years, Khali went on to become the WWE Champion. He has also appeared in four Hollywood films and two Bollywood films. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 class. The man who weighs 157 kgs and 7 feet height, gained global level acclaim through his gigantic looks.
