Actress cum Director Lakshmy Ramakrishnan who is known for hosting “Solvathellam Unmai”, uploaded a tweet saying that the film made by director Vasanth for “Navarasa” anthology film deserves an Oscar. She appreciated actor Delhi Ganesh for the performance he pulled off in the project. She wished people to recognize the nuances and lauded the way how the emotions are conveyed. When a follower confronted her statement, Lakshmy didn’t change her stance.

“Navarasa” is an anthology film that consists 9 films, directed by different filmmakers and performed by different actors with Mani ratnam’s “Madras Talkies” producing it. Priyadarshan, Karthik Subbaraj, Vasanth, Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Karthick Naren, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sarjun KM, Rathindran R are the filmmakers and Summer 92, Peace, Payasam, Roudhram, Edhiri, Project Agni, Guitar kambi Mele Nindru, Thunitha Pin, Inmai are their respective projects.
“Paayasam” is a film made by director Vasanth who is known for making quality films such as “Aasai”, “Rythm”, “Saththam Podathey”. Starring Delhi Ganesh, Rohini, Aditi Balan, the film revolves around the emotion “jealousy”. After watching the film, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan uploaded a tweet writing “payasam ###Navarasa mind blowing!
