Kasthuri is an Indian film actress, model, TV show anchor and social activist. She began her acting career in 1991 in Kollywood and has been subsequently associated with Tamil films. Prior to acting, she has been a model.

Kasthuri debuted in the Tamil film Aatha Un Koyiley in 1991, and appeared in a number of Tamil films thereafter, including the horror film Rasathi Varum Naal, Government Mappilai, Chinnavar and Senthamizh Paatu alongside Prabu Ganesan in 1992.
