The entire nation welcomed Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman as he finally returned home on Friday. The IAF pilot was released by Pakistan after his plane crashed on the other side of the border. Several Indian celebrities were also among millions of Indians who welcomed the hero.

From Kamal Haasan and Sachin Tendulkar to actress Alia Bhatt and Hansika, many welcomed the hero of the nation. Tamil comedy actor Sathish also welcomed Anhinanthan by posting a tweet in his official twitter account. In his tweet the actor took a dig at those who speaks ill about Abhinanthan’s bravery and the patriotism he had on our nation.

For this one of his follower replied that no one supported Pakistan but the act of the Prime minister alone was lauded as he released Abhinanthan within the second day of the arrest.

Abhinandan Varthaman had been taken into custody after aerial engagement between Indian Air Force and Paksitani Air Force. However, as a goodwill gesture, he was sent back to India yesterday.
