Someone asked me whether I would do “adjustments” through a phone call.” said Regina and added that she couldn’t understand the meaning of it at that time.
“I thought he was asking me to do “adjustments” in my remuneration. It happened 10 years ago and I was just 20 years old at that time. I said to him that my manager will talk about it to him, thinking it was just about my “remuneration”. Later I realized that he was talking about a different kind of “adjustment”.” said Regina in the interview.
The “Maanagaram” actress further said that she disconnected the call as soon as knowing the real intention of the individual. “After that incident, I never faced such situation in my life personally. That kind of world is where we are living in.” she said. Regina also shared about how she got physically harassed by a male during her college days near “Ega theatre”. “It doesn’t matter. This is one of the things that will probably happen. I don’t know. I personally never experienced something called “Casting couch” as such.” she added.
