In a shocking turn of events a student from Ambattur, Chennai who was waiting to enroll for in a college for his higher studies in a days life allegedly due  love failure. It has been reported that the student fell in love with his teacher named Sharmila and took the extreme decision after she brok her relationship with him. The teacher got arrested under POCSO act and has been lodged in jail.

On 30th of August, the student reportedly went to State college, Chennai with this friends for counselling and returned home in the evening. Moments later, he tried to commit suicide by hanging himself in his bedroom.

As soon as discovering their son hanging, his parents rescued him and took him to a private hospital locates in Ambattur for treatment. The doctors who examined him said that the student was brought dead. Subsequently, the Ambattur police registered a suspicious case and conducted an investigation. The student’s body was sent to Kilpauk medical hospital for postmortem.

In the preliminary investigation, it has been found that the student was studying at Sir Ramaswamy mudalyar Higher Secondary School in Ambattur for the past 3 years under the tuition of a teacher named Sharmila who was working as a temporary teacher in the same School.

The student who has been identified as Krishnakumar and teacher Sharmila became friends. Reports suggests hat the two started fell in a romantic relationship by the time. In the meantime, teacher Sharmila has been visited by a groom at her house. She who decided to end her relationship with Krishna, cut off all ties with him which prevented him from contacting her. Krishna Kumar reportedly forced the teacher to speak with him but she refuse to do so.

Police report said that the facts about his relationship with teacher Sharmila came to light after his mobile phone was examined. As a result,  the Ambattur all women police registered a case against the teacher under the Protection of Children from Sexual offences Act and arrested her.

On Tuesday, a report emerged saying that a 21 year old girl student from Omalur, Salem got arrested under the same act after she became pregnant and married a college first year student.
