The Kollywood actor Siddharth tweeted a question about giving R Ashwin the captainship to bring the game out of him. 

Indian Nation Cricket team is on the England tour under the captainship of Virat Kohli. Two test matches have been over. The third test match starts on the 25th of August 2021 and continues till the 29th of August at Headingley, Leeds in England. The tour is followed by 4th and 5th test matches and it is expected that the tour will be ended by the mid of September.

An Indian International Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin is from Tamil Nadu. He is an all-rounder who bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off-break. He wasn’t included in the squad for playing the first two test matches in England. This made the fanatics of Ashwin question Virat Kohli whether Ashwin will be given a chance to play in the third test match against English.

To which Virat Kohli said he is good with the team he had for the second test match. Here is what Virat Kohli said, “We thought about getting Ravichandran Ashwin in but the pressure of the extra seamer in these conditions is crucial. Ravindra Jadeja will bowl a lot more overs because the conditions are suited to him.” He further said that he didn’t want to break up a winning team but is tempted by the head of Headingley pitch to play off-spinner Ravichandra Ashwin on the third test match. R Ashwin always had a desire to lead the team. He once addressed the press saying that he is confident enough to lead the team on white-ball cricket (ODIs and T20s).
