Superstar Rajinikanth’s take on being a simple person has grabbed the attention of online users after Director Nelson Dileepkumar mentioned about how simple actor Vijay’s choices are in a recent interaction that took place to promote “Beast”. As soon as the face to face interaction streamed in Television, many online users questioned how could an actor who earns crores of money per film could identify himself as a man of simplicity.

Director Nelson Dileepkumar, while interviewing Vijay, said that he was expecting a lavish feast while the actor invited him and other crew members for dinner. However, during the dinner, Vijay opted only for Biryani that is worth Rs.100, said Nelson. The filmmaker also said that the choices of Vijay, even during the shopping are so simple. Replying to him, the actor said that he always wanted to stay normal and simple.

As a reaction to this interview of Vijay, now a video of Superstar Rajinikanth is trending in the social media platforms. In the interview that took place during the release of 2.0, Superstar Rajinikanth who is known for the works he had done in Tamil film industry for the past 40 plus years, said that he doesn’t understand the concept of “simplicity”.

When host Archana asked Rajinikanth whether he is choosing the path of simplicity as he understood that everything including fame and money is an illusion, Rajinikanth said that he doesn’t understand the concept of “simplicity”.

“I don’t know about simplicity. The car I am using is BMW. The house I am living is located in Poes Garden. The hotels I go to eat are 5 star and 7 star. I don’t understand how it is simplicity” the Superstar actor said with a wide laughter in his face. “Is simplicity relies on only how we dress? ” he further questioned.
