The most expected music and trailer launch of “Ponniyin Selvan” is taking place with the presence of Ulaganaayagan Kamal Haasan and Superstar Rajinikanth as chief guests. The event saw many more celebrities attending it with fans waiting for the songs and trailer to get released. After Ilayaraja 75, this is the first stage where Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Superstar Rajinikanth are taking part together.

In a way of welcoming the two pillars of Tamil cinema, Lyca productions made a special video and wrote “It can’t get any bigger or better than this! The production house’s decision of placing Kamal Haasan’s name at the top irked a number of Rajinikanth fans who use online platforms. “I wish Rajini sir not to attend the function, that’s how Lyca and Manirathnam would know about the value of him” a fan of the actor said whereas another one wrote “Hey Lyca You should know whose name you have to put first. It was Kamal Rajini only up to 1979 and after that it has been always Rajini Kamal, got it?”
