Former Indian spin bowler Amit Mishra trolled the selection process of team Chennai Super Kings by saying that he is still two years younger to join the team while replying to a fan who invited him to the team of the defending champions. The tweet irked the fans of the yellow team who stormed the comment section of Mishra and trolled him back as an act of avenge.
It all started after Mishra uploaded a tweet lauding the way Ashish Nehra is coaching team Gujarat Titans in the ongoing IPL season. The team which is yet to get defeated in their inaugural season, is appearing to be a strong contender for the title of IPL 2022 edition.
Uploading a picture of Nehra reading out a paper to one of his team players, Mishra wrote “Gujarat Titans are yet to be defeated this season. If they continue the same form, we might see other coaches also giving up laptop and picking up pen and paper like Nehra ji. 😉 #IPL #PBKSvGT #TATAIPL2022” in his post.

Amit Mishra who represented a number of teams in Indian Premier League, decided to troll the team’s selection process while providing his reply. The former cricketer said “Sorry mate, Still two years younger for it” in his tweet, denoting that CSK is playing with aged men.

Former CSK captain Dhoni is 40 years of age whereas other prominent players such as Dwayne Bravo, Rayudu and Uthappa are 38, 36, 36 respectively. The team is fondly called as “Daddy’s army” due to the excess number of fathers playing for the team.
Reply made by Mishra targeting CSK team didn’t go well among the fans of the team which is evident through their reply comments that surfaces in the comment section of his tweet.
