In a nail baiting thriller, India lost to South Africa after failing to score 6 runs in te last over by having just 1 wicket remaining. Yuzvendra Chahal who tried to go for a big shot, got edged and caused India’s white wash. However, it is not the only reason for the team’s loss as some of the top order batsmen exhibited no intent of winning the game.

Captain KL Rahul who promoted himself as an opener returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs. The most disappointing innings came from Rishabh Pant who got out in the very first ball he faced. He who tried to go for a maximum in the very first ball while chasing a gettable total, got out and gained severe criticism from fans and critics.

Former South African pacer Dale Steyn laughed about a “guy” through his official twitter handle and fans of team India assumed that he indirectly mocked the 24 year old. Fans who got offended, countered Steyn by stating his achievements and others trolled Pant along with Steyn. “That guy” wrote Steyn in his tweet by adding laughing and shy emoji.
