Selvaraghavan and Sonia had opted for divorce citing mutual incompatibility as the reason in 2010. What surprised everyone is the couple has known each other well before the wedding and were courting before they tied the nuptial knot. The actress who talked about acting with Vijay in Madura and acting with Simbu in Kovil just took us to the actual period of the release time of the movies.

In the interview, to our surprise, the actress also talked about Selvaraghavan and her experience with him during the shoot for their movies. Mentioning him as her Guru, Soniya Agarwal heaped all praise on him in this interview.

“Selvaraghavan is the one who taught me acting. Though being a strict teacher he taught me to express my emotions in different language. He made me suffer during the shoot time by asking repeated takes but I only managed to realize it later that he took the best out of me. I am really thankful for him as he made people recognize me as Divya and Anitha even after 15 long years.” says Soniya in the interview with a happy face.

While talking about one particular shot for which she took multiple takes for a Selvaraghavan movie, Soniya Agarwal revealed a scene from 7G Rainbow colony movie where she gives a long lecture to Kathir (Ravikrsihna) about how to respect parents. “Selva wanted it in single take which he accomplished after a lot of struggle” says the actress in the interview.

Selvaraghavan is currently busy in working on the post production phase of the movie NGK which has actor Surya in the lead. He also hinted his fans in twitter about Aayirathil Oruvan 2 where fans are also expecting Pudhupettai 2 from him which they missed to celebrate in theatre at the time of it’s release.
