Despite these challenges, Jagan was able to get an opportunity to direct his own film. However, he missed out on the chance due to a miscommunication with someone who was working with him at the time. This was a setback for Jagan, but he remained determined to pursue his passion for filmmaking.

Jagan also shared an interesting anecdote about working with popular actor Sivakarthikeyan. The Jagan had invited actor to act in a story set in a hospital for a TV show he was working on. Sivakarthikeyan went for all the make-up tests, but on the day of the shoot, someone stole 30 lakh rupees and disappeared. Sivakarthikeyan finished the shoot for 15 days but then disappeared without a trace. Jagan reveals that even he does not know what happened to Sivakarthikeyan or why he never returned to complete the shoot.
