Sivakarthikeyan Responds To Hindi Imposition In Tamil nadu!!
Actor Sivakarthikeyan who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film “Don” which is going to get released on 13th of May, responded to a reporter’s question on Hindi imposition in Tamil nadu and other non-Hindi speaking states. The actor who felt reluctant answering the question initially, said that only knows Tamil language and is speaking the same.
Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who enjoys a huge fan following among all age groups and across genders, is one of the most prominent upcoming stars in Tamil film industry. He was last seen in “Doctor” of Nelson Dilipkumar. Being one of the busiest actors in Kollywood industry right now, Siva is having commitments for nearly half a dozen movies and is busy producing movies as well.

As we all know Sivakarthikeyan started his career as a mimicry artist. Despite initial reluctance to participate, he won the show. Prior his hosting career, he appeared in short films including his friend Atlee’s Mugapputhagam, Identity, Kurahl 786 and 360°. After debuting in Tamil film industry as protagonist through Pandiraj’s Marina, Sivakarthikeyan went on to give massive successes such as Maan Karate, Remo and is now considered as one of the top most actors of Tamil film industry.
Coming back to the statement he made about Hindi imposition, the issue is being addressed by most of the celebrities ever since Central Home minister Amit Shah made a statement saying that Hindi should be used as a link language instead of English in India.
In a way of adding fuel to it, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan confronted South Indian actor Kichcha Sudeepa over his comment on Hindi not being the national language of India. Ajay questioned Sudeep why he is dubbing the films of his language to Hindi if he feels Hindi is not the national language of India. He also made a strong statement saying that Hindi was, is and will be the national language of the country.
Many celebrities including A. R Rahman were asked to make a statement about the imposition of Hindi language in the state. The Oscar winner said that “Tamil is the link language” while replying to a press reporter with many other celebrities raising voice against the imposition of Hindi language.
Now, Sivakarthikeyan who has been meeting press reporters due to the release of his upcoming film “Don”, was also asked about the same. Siva who denied to answer the question initially, left the press meet saying “I know only Tamil and I have been speaking only Tamil language. Thank you”
