Ahed of the release of his upcoming film “Prince”, actor Sivakarthikeyan is busy promoting it by giving interviews to YouTube channels. The film which is directed by “Jathi Rathnalu” fame Anudeep, slated to release on 21st of October across the theatres worldwide. In an interview with famous film critic Bharadwaj Rangan, Sivakarthikeyan opened on why his films such as Hero, Seema Raja, Mr local became flops.

The film critic asked Sivakarthikeyan to tell how his mindset was while hearing the story and how it transformed and what was the learning after seeing its result.

Talking about Seema Raja, Sivakarthikeyan said that the hit combination of himself with director Ponram and Soori made them to work on a film with a bigger scale. The actor said that he believes Seema Raja failed due to the expectation audience had on them as a combination and how they failed to promote the film in a right way to prepare the audience.

However, mainly, Siva believed that the film failed to convey the audience why the protagonist had to know about his ancestors who are brave enough to involve in war. “To hear about this ancestors who are known for bravery, the protagonist was needed to be a coward but we showed him involving in action scenes in the very first scene of the film” said Sivakarthikeyan and went on to say that it is his own analysis.

About “Mr.Local”, Sivakarthikeyan said that director Rajesh is one of his fare a favourite directors even today but he didn’t want to talk about why the film went wrong. Talking about his superhero film ” Hero”, Siva said that the makers of the film failed to show the audience whom to follow between Arjun and himself.

“While watching the film for the first time, I myself thought that the film became good but later I realised that we failed to convey the audience whom to follow between the character played by Arjun sir and myself. I also feel that we failed to capture tiny details such as how the students made satellite etc” he further added before saying “you made me review my own movies” to the film critic in a humorous manner.

On the work front Sivakarthikeyan who gave back blockbusters with “Doctor” and “Don”, Sivakarthikeyan is expected to be seen in “Ayalaan” and “Maveeran” apart from “Prince” which is his next release.
