Simbu aka Silambarasan aka STR, one of the controversial actors of Kollywood industry, is in news again. Not many days ago, his project with director Venkat Prabhu was announced as dropped. Later Studio Greens head Gnanavel Raja, has filed a complaint against the actor for not appearing in the shooting spot of his upcoming project “Mufti”.

After spending a long time on abroad, Simbu returned in a never seen before look. The actor who is yet to finish his portions in the Kannada remake of Mufti which also has Gautam Karthick in the lead, didn’t attend the shoot which was held at Karnataka.

“Maanadu”, The film which was earlier announced as that it was officially dropped due to Simbu’s non-cooperation, raised eyebrows of the fans on the recent announcement of its producer Suresh Kamatchi. The producer through his official twitter account said that “Maanadu” is planned to go on floors soon. The pictures Suresh Kamatchi shared contained the pictures of Simbu in a devotional attire.

Recently it was also updated that Simbu has allotted dates for Maanadu in mid January. Meanwhile pictures of the actor getting ready to pray to “Iyappan Swamy” also surfaced. Now a video which was surfaced today shows the actor practicing boxing with a trainer.
