Trailer of Silambarasan’s upcoming film “Eeswaran” got released on youtube and caused various kind of reactions in the social media platforms as the actor made the fans remember about his rivalry with actor Dhanush by uttering a dialogue against “Asuran” at the end of the trailer. Eeswaran is slated to release on 14th of January ahead of the Pongal festival.

Simbu who was last seen in “Vantha Rajava Thaan Varuven”, is making his come back through “Eeswaran” which was directed by Suseenthran of “Naan Mahaan Alla” fame. The film has Nidhi Agarwal and Nandita in the female lead roles and actor Saravanan is playing Simbu’s friend. The trailer promises a mass commercial entertainer with a rural back drop. Eeswaran is preventing villain from harming a family, seems to be the whole plot of the film.

Simbu’s weight loss seems to be the only new things in the film as it looks like an old school revenge drama with a mix of family sentiment, romance, punch dialogues, comedy and action sequences. Watch the trailer below :

Music composed by Thaman and the camera was cranked by cinematographer Thirru. Anthony took care of edit department whereas Rajeevan worked on Art department. Simbu went through a strict diet regime and intense weight to play lead in the film. The actor reportedly lost 30 kilograms and the film was completed within a single shooting schedule of 22 days.

As soon as the trailer released, reactions on the last dialogue uttered by Silambarasan became a talking point in social media platforms. “Saw #EeswaranTrailer.
