Actor Siddharth who constantly raising voice against the CAB act has been targeted by the BJP supporters in micro blogging social media site it seems. A guy whose twitter handle name is Mothilal Parthasarathy posted a picture of actor Siddharth with a group of members and accused the actor for harassing a minor.

The passing of citizenship amendment bill in parliament made him to post several tweets against the ruling party and now it made this guy to defame the actor. It all started when Siddharth expressed his disappointment over the chief minister of Tamilnadu Edappadi Pazhaniswamy for stretching his support for the CAB act.

The BJP supporter, by posting the group picture of Siddharth wrote “நீ வெறும் சித்தார்த்தா, இல்ல சித்து வேலை சித்தார்த்தா?பொண்ணுங்களுக்கு 14,15 வயசு தா இருக்கும் போல. அந்த வெளிநாட்டு பொண்ண எப்பிடி கட்டி புடிச்சு நிக்கிறான் பாருங்க. வலது பக்கம், ஓரத்துல இருக்குற பொண்ணு பேண்ட் கூட போடல. என்னடா பண்றீங்க. போராளின்னாவே இப்பிடி தானோ? 🤔”

Siddharth who saw this tweet immediately replied with a strong message. The actor who felt that it is targeted harassment said that he has filed a complaint against the man who tried to defame him. The actor, in his tweet, also warned them to leave his family and friends out of this. He further asked why protesting scares them so much.

This kind of vile messaging is being spread about me on WhatsApp (BJP source of misinformation, propaganda and venom) and being circulated to tarnish my reputation.

Regarding the baseless accusation, the actor informed his followers that he has registered a complaint against the man. “Reported this disgusting character and will be filing a complaint as well. For this tweet the actor received immense support from his followers. The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019, which Siddharth is protesting against, seeks to give Indian nationality to non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan passed the lower House test recently. The Bill seeks to amend the definition of illegal immigrant for Hindu, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist and Christian immigrants from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, who have lived in India without documentation. They will be granted fast-track Indian citizenship in six years. So far, 12 years of residence has been the standard.
